Theatre Harrisburg continues its 2014-2015 Mainstage season with the romantic musical comedy I DO! I DO! at the Krevsky Production Center in uptown Harrisburg. Opening on Friday, January 30, other performances are scheduled for January 31 and February 1, 5, 6, 8, 12, 13 & 15. Show times are Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. All seats are priced at $30 except Friday, February 6 and Thursday, February 12 when all seats are only $20. Tickets may be purchased by visiting or calling the Whitaker Center box office at (717) 214-ARTS. Information about special additional benefit performances being presented on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday February 15 is available by contacting the Theatre office at (717) 232-5501.

To celebrate Valentine's Day on Saturday, February 14th, Theatre Harrisburg is offering a special "Evening of Romance" performance of I DO! I DO! Beginning at 6:00 p.m., guests will be treated to champagne, gourmet deserts, flowers, candy and a pre-show recital of romantic duets from the Broadway and opera stage performed by Jonathan and Beverly Hudson. The price is $95/couple, $55/person. Tickets for this performance only at (717) 232-5501.

I DO! I DO! is set solely in a bedroom dominated by a large four-poster bed. This charming musical spans fifty years, from 1895 to 1945, as it focuses on the ups and downs experienced by Agnes and Michael Snow throughout their marriage. Written by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, the same team who created THE FANTASTICKS, the original 1967 Tony Award-winning Broadway production starred Mary Martin and Robert Preston

Theatre Harrisburg's production of I DO! I DO! stars Debbie Smith and Rick Stevens as Agnes and Michael Snow. Music director is Stephen Smith, and the entire production is under the direction of Joan Derricks Kraft.
