Umphress & George Guest On Broadway Sessions With Ben D Tonight 5/26

Broadway Sessions w/ Ben D, the weekly musical theater themed evening at midtown nightclub Therapy, continues May 26th with special guests Rhett George and Alysha Umphress.
Rhett George is currently featured in The Little Mermaid at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater.

He has appeared on Broadway in Wicked, Aida and the recent revival of Sweet Charity starring Christina Applegate (Daddy). He has toured with productions of The Lion King, Rent and The Color Purple. Rhett wrote and co-produced all 16 tracks on his debut album 'Something Better' which is available on Itunes.

Alysha Umphress is a former XL star winner and current co-host of 'The After Party' at The Laurie Beechman Theater. A MAC nominee, Umphress has performed at Joes Pub as part of Broadway Loves the 80's. Ms. Umphress will be featured in the upcoming Green Day project 'American Idiot'.

Broadway Sessions w/ Ben D is described as an evening of music. games and comedy featuring a new Broadway guest each week. It is hosted by actor Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose). The weekly program takes place every Tuesday at 11 pm at Therapy (348 west 52nd street). There is no cover charge for this event. Attendees must be 21 or older with proper id.
