Recording Artist Kimberly Davis to Appear at Marty Thomas Presents DIVA at Industry Bar, 1/6

Marty Thomas presents DIVA is a weekly show at Industry Bar in midtown Manhattan. Featuring a cast of Alexa Green (WICKED, COMPANY), Kelly King (Babyface, Michael Bolton) and Marissa Rosen (MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING), it is hosted and produced by Marty Thomas (XANADU, WICKED, THE SECRET GARDEN). DIVA celebrates fabulous female vocalists paying tribute to some of histories most over the top icons! The cast performs a brand new show every week with exciting new guests rotating.

Monday, January 6, recording artist Kimberly Davis will join the divas.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Kimberly Davis cut her teeth musically at the prestigious "Fame" school, LaGuardia High School of Music and Art.

Winning a highly competitive talent competition sponsored by KISS FM, Kimberly was discovered by Nile Rodgers and consequently toured with his disco super group, Chic. Touring South America, Europe, Asia and of course America, audiences go crazy over Kimberly's powerful, soulful vocals.

Kimberly, today, is a D1 Music label recording artist. Her first single, "Get Up" reached #12 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart, and her follow-up, "Twist of Love", built on that success. It was played on over 200 radio stations and debuted at #41 on Billboard's Hot Club Play Chart. After just a few weeks, it rocketed up to #9 with a bullet, where it remained for two weeks.

In 2014 Kimberly has debuted her latest single "With You" (currently available on itunes) which has just entered the Billboard chart at #47. "With You", was written by Mike Greenly and Jim Papoulis and the original version was produced by Soulbeats NYC (Tony Smith and Jim Papoulis). Peter McLean, Satya H.K.
