Feinstein's at Loews Regency and RJ Productions will present Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, the original stars of the smash Broadway musical Rent in a special one-night only event at New York's The Town Hall on Monday, January 10, 2011. The evening will feature the two stars sharing stories and music from Rent, in addition to pop, rock and original songs. Selections from the musicals Cabaret and Chess will be included, as well as new arrangements of "Maria," "Not a Day Goes By," and "What I Did for Love."

Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp got their big break fourteen years ago as original cast members in Jonathan Larson's ground breaking musical Rent. In 2005, they both reprised their roles in the movie version of Rent and helped bring a new generation of fans to the Broadway show and returned to Rent on July 30, 2007, for a six week run. Their journey with Rent finally came to conclusion when in 2009, they reprised their roles one last time, in "Rent The Broadway Tour", which traveled all over the U.S. as well as Japan and South Korea.

Adam Pascal made his Broadway debut playing the HIV-positive rock guitarist "Roger" in Rent. His performance was called "the golden-voiced, meditative soul" of the show and earned him a Tony Award nomination, a Theater World Award, and an Obie Award. He went on to originate the role of "Radames" in the Elton John and Tim Rice musical Aida and play "Emcee" in the final Broadway performances of Kander and Ebb's Cabaret. Eventually, he ventured into the world of film to appear in SLC Punk, School of Rock and Temptation. In 2000, Pascal returned to his rock roots with a solo recording contract on Sh-K-Boom Records. He released two solo rock albums, Model Prisoner - for which he wrote 10 of the album's 12 songs - followed by Civilian, inspired by his children and the effects 9/11 had on his family and the world.

In 2008, Adam played the role of Freddie Trumper in the Tim Rice/ABBA musical Chess, alongside Josh Groban and Idina Menzel for two sold out performances at The Royal Albert Hall, in London. Adam's latest CD entitled Blinding Light is currently in release and he is touring with his band "Me & Larry." His two most recent films are Falling Star and American Primitive. He is also developing a musical for Broadway based on the concept album Operation Mindcrime, by the progressive rock band Queensryche.

Anthony Rapp has gone on to appear in several movies and Broadway shows, most notably as intellectuals. His work includes the films Dazed and Confused, A Beautiful Mind, School Ties, Road Trip, the stage and film versions of Six Degrees of Separation, An American Family, Danny Roane: First Time Director and You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown.

Rapp has embraced his role as an unofficial spokesperson for the musical Rent and has given numerous television and print interviews regarding the show and its development. Some of Rapp's photographs from rehearsals of Rent have been published. In 2000, Rapp released a solo CD, entitled Look Around. Rapp recently worked on a production of Without You, a one man show based on his memoirs concerning Rent, the death of Jonathan Larson and the death of his mother. It premiered at City Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA and was recently presented at Joe's Pub in New York and the New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp will appear at The Town Hall on Monday, January 10 at 8:00 PM. Tickets prices range from $25.00 and $95.00 and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com or by calling (212) 840-2824. The Town Hall is located at 123 West 43rd Street (between 6th Avenue and Broadway).
