John Gallagher Jr, fresh off his Tony Award-winning turn as Mortiz in Spring Awakening, will appear with his band Old Springs Pike at Joe's Pub January 2 - 4 at 7:30PM and January 6 at 7:30PM & 9:30PM.

Winner of the "Battle of the Broadway Bands" last spring, Old Springs Pike features Gallagher Jr on guitar and vocals, James Cleare on guitar and vocals, Heather Robb on keyboard / melodica and vocals, and James Smith on guitar / percussion and vocals.

"Old Springs Pike blends the cricket chirp of a suburban slow-fade with the subway scream of metropolitan mayhem. Using four part harmony as a diving board, these early twenty-somethings find themselves in stylistic depths ranging from a fair-paced folk to a rarely restrained roots rock. With an energetic, spontaneous live act, Old Springs Pike proves that it's not just a concert, but an event. The group uses four-part harmony as a diving board for their indie-acoustic rock sound, adding country and folk stylings into the mix for a sound that's as original as it is exhilarating," describe press notes.

Joe's Pub is located within The Public Theater (425 Lafayette Street, between East 4th and Astor Place). For reservations call 212-967-7555 or visit www.joespub.com. There is a $12 cover charge and a two-drink minimum. All ages. For more information on Old Springs Pike visit www.oldspringspike.com
