Michael Longoria Performs Free Concert at Hardware Bar Tonight

In his return to the New York City nightlife scene, Michael Longoria, best known for his star turn as Frankie Valli in the Tony Award Winning Broadway musical Jersey Boys, offers a free concert in his favorite part of town. The concert will feature Longoria's renditions of hits by contemporary pop artists such as Rihanna, Fun!, and Gavin DeGraw, as well as the debut of original songs from Longoria's upcoming song writing project.

Top 25 Billboard singer Kelly King (winner of 2013 Silver Seagull award for best international singer) and Broadway vocalist Rashad Naylor (HAIRSPRAY), will join Longoria as a featured guests with a special performances in the concert. Hardware Bar is located at 697 10th Ave between W. 47th and W. 48th streets in Manhattan.

"I'm excited to debut new songs that no one has heard before. I've been singing Broadway and 60s' music on stage for a good part of my career, so it's exciting to have a chance to develop my own sound again and share it in Hell's Kitchen," Longoria said.

Michael Longoria was born in West Hollywood, began his training at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and graduated with a BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Michael made his Broadway Debut in the Tony Award Winning musical Hairspray sharing the stage with Harvey Fierstein. After that he created the role of Joey in the original cast of Jersey Boys, soon after taking over the staring role of Frankie Valli. As a concert artist Longoria has headlined in Atlantic City in "That's Life!" with SNL star Joe Piscopo, and toured the nation with his original co-stars of Jersey Boys in "The Midtown Men". He has appeared on national television on Good Morning America, The Chew, Katie, and America's Got Talent season 7 finale with Susan Boyle and Shakira. As a singer songwriter, Longoria has performed at CB's Gallery, The Cutting Room, Joe's Pub, The Knitting Factory and Caroline's on Broadway.
