54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Lauren Elder, from Side Show on Broadway. Join her on a musical journey of love, loss, discovery, awkward moments, and Broadway dreams come true at her 54 Below solo debut. Backed by her band of misfits and outcasts, she'll be singing songs you know, songs you don't, songs you thought you knew, and songs she wrote. A world class, whistler, as well, you can be sure she'll be puckering her lips a lot!

Lauren will be joined onstage by many Broadway friends she's made along the way, including Haven Burton (Rent, Legally Blonde, Shrek, Violet); Hair cast mates, Allison Guinn (On the Town), Katie Kiyan, and Maya Sharpe; and a special reunion of the Broadway revival cast of Side Show, which closes January 4th. The evening is directed and co-written by Bobby Cronin, with musical direction by Matt Hinkley and Josh Walker.

Lauren Elder plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) January 19, 2014 at 9:30pm. There is a $25-$35 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.com. Tickets on the day of performance after 4:00 are only available by calling (646) 476-3551.

Lauren Elder is an actress, singer-songwriter and whistler living in New York City. She has been seen on HBO's Boardwalk Empire, in the Broadway and West End revivals of Hair, and the La Jolla, Kennedy Center, and Broadway revival of Side Show. Lauren blends the sweet sounds of the ukulele with influences of folk, jazz and pop to create her unique, whimsical sound, which she then records in her closet, huddled between her vintage dresses.
