What are you doing for Madonna's birthday this year? It has been 4 years since Melissa Young performed her infamous "Madonna show" in the city of Chicago. Now, LUCKY STAR - MADONNA AT 55: A BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE starring Melissa Young, returns to Chicago! Young performs the music of America's most original artist, Madonna.

Over 20 of Madonna's songs, spanning her thirty year career, get a musical makeover. LUCKY STAR is a tribute show that dares to ask such musical questions as: What if Madonna met Disney to revamp "Papa Don't Preach?" or if the next hit show on Broadway was MATERIAL GIRL: THE MUSICAL? Jazz, Country, Swing, and even Reggae all meet Madonna, America's most loved and hated pop icon. Nick Sula will join Young this time around at the piano and with some new additional arrangements. Daryl Nitz, of Chicago's longest running cabaret show, THE NITZ HOWE EXPERIENCE, will direct. Young's been seen all around town at Davenports, Hydrate, the Park West, 3160 and Drury Lane Water Tower and out of town at The Dunes Resort, Don't Tell Mama in NYC, The Duplex NYC and The Stonewall Inn.

The show will run tonight, August 15 and August 16 (Madonna's birthday) and 17 at 8 p.m. at Davenports Cabaret. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and showtime is 8 p.m. There is a $15 cover, 2 drink minimum. Reservations recommended, visit www.davenportspianobar.com or call 773-278-1830.
