Jim Caruso's Cast Party and TheaterMania.com are proud to announce celebrated performer and Broadway star Jason Danieley on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 7PM, as part of the long-running, critically-heralded and popular concert series Broadway at Birdland.

Joining Danieley in this diverse night of multi-genre music, all delivered with a healthy dose of Americana flavor and entitled "Love: A Work in Progress," will be Dan Lipton (Piano), Christian Hebel (Fiddle), Mark Vanderpoel (Bass), Michael Aarons (Guitar/Banjo/Mandolin), Damien Bassman (Percussion) and Theresa McCarthy (Backing Vocals). In addition to singing, Danieley will join the band on Tenor Guitar.

Currently starring on Broadway as Aaron Fox in Kander & Ebb's Curtains, a role he originated in the show's March 2007 premiere, Danieley made his Broadway debut over ten years ago, as the title character in theater legend Harold Prince's production of Candide, for which he received Theatre World and Drama League Awards, as well as a Drama Desk nomination. In 2000, he famously took it all off for the hit production of The Full Monty, in both the original Broadway and West End casts.  A frequent guest of New York's highly acclaimed City Center Encores! series, Danieley has scored leading roles in A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and Strike Up The Band. Off-Broadway appearances include: The Trojan Women: A Love Story; Dream True; and Adam Guettel's Floyd Collins.

Danieley has also performed, by special invitation as a guest artist, alongside many of the country's leading orchestras, including the New York, Boston and Philadelphia Pops, the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, and the St. Louis, Utah, Minnesota and Boston Symphonies. He has starred in fully-staged concert versions of Bernstein's Candide, and Gershwin's Of Thee I Sing and Let 'Em Eat Cake (conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas) with the San Francisco Symphony, as well as major Carnegie Hall concerts of Carousel with the Orchestra of St. Luke's, and South Pacific (the latter taped and broadcast in 2006 on PBS's Great Performances series).

Since 1997, he has been married to fellow famed Broadway star and three-time Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie.

Danieley performs Monday, February 4, 2008, at 7PM at Birdland (315 West 44th Street, between 8th & 9th Aves).

Tickets: $25.00 + $10.00 Food/Drink Minimum (Per Person) can be purchased Online: www.BirdlandJazz.com; or by Telephone: 212.581.3080.
