54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Bryan Fenkart in "A Decade of Imperfection" tonight, August 11, 2015. Derrick Baskin (Memphis, Spelling Bee), Sam Brown, Zak Resnick (Piece of My Heart, Mamma Mia) and Daniel J. Watts (After Midnight, Motown) join Bryan as he celebrates the 10 year anniversary of his debut album, "Imperfect Man". The evening will take us on the unpredictable journey of the everyman, told through Bryan's original music and the pop, rock and Broadway songs that have inspired him.

Bryan's albums, "Imperfect Man" and "Simple and Grey" were released in 2005 and 2012, respectively. Inspired by the sounds of Billy Joel, John Mayer, Sara Bareilles and Coldplay, among others, Bryan's music has a pop rock sensibility, distinguished by his clever, lush arrangements and unique storytelling. His lyrics are at once personal and universal, and explore the themes of balance, moving on and letting go. Says Bryan of his work as a songwriter and performer: "We are, all of us, imperfect. We have all been broken, but we have all put ourselves back together. These are the songs I try to write. This is what feeds the characters I play. We are supposed to ask questions. If Huey Calhoun in Memphis: The Musical didn't incessantly ask 'do things really need to be this way,' then nothing in the world would have ever changed."

Bryan Fenkart in "A Decade of Imperfection" plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on August 11 at 9:30pm. There is a $30-$40 cover charge (Premium Tickets are $65) and $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.com. Tickets on the day of performance after 4:00 are only available by calling (646) 476-3551.

Bryan starred in both the Broadway production and 1st National Tour of the 2010 Tony Award-Winning Best Musical Memphis. After that, he took to Second Stage to star in the new musical comedy Nobody Loves You, followed closely by three consecutive world premieres: These Paper Bullets! (Yale Rep), Piece of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story (Signature), and Barry Levinson & Sheryl Crow's Diner (Signature, VA). He has also been seen in Law & Order: Criminal Intent, as well as the indie films You Tell Me and Red Hook. Bryan is also an accomplished singer/songwriter, and his albums Simple & Grey and Imperfect Man are both available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and more. He also has his own Pandora channel, Bryan Fenkart Radio. Follow him on Facebook at www.facebook.com/BryanFenkart, on Twitter @Steinway7, or www.bryanfenkart.com.
