Baltimore Choral Arts presents A Ruby Cabaret on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 7 pm at The Grand Lodge Ballroom in Hunt Valley. Baltimore Choral Arts holds this annual fundraiser to benefit its education activities.

New York cabaret singers Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano, silent and live auctions, fine dining and an open bar are included in this sizzling night of jazz and cabaret.

Then, on Sunday, May 5, 2013, the group will present its spring concert, "Poetry in Song" at 3 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 3407 N. Charles Street, Baltimore.

Actor and CenterStage Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah joins Tom Hall and the Chorus for a program of musical interpretations of poetry and biblical texts.

Featuring music by Samuel Barber, John Rutter, Arvo Pärt, Morten Lauridsen, and others.
