On the Tuesday, September 25th edition of the nationally-syndicated talk show, KATIE, (check local listings or katiecouric.com) Barbra Streisand, one of the world's most influential and incomparable entertainers, opens up in a rare television interview with Katie Couric.

Watch as Couric asks Streisand about the possibility of a third Broadway album, and the icon also opens up about her brand new album, "Release Me," her return to Brooklyn for her first performance there in more than 50 years and her passion project, the Barbra Streisand Women's Heart Center at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.

Barbra also answers questions regarding constant reports that she's retired from touring, followed by more concerts, noting "No, I didn't announce it. It was just that I said it's very tough to go on stage for two hours, and dress up, and wear high heels, and sing 22 songs a night, and it's very exhausting. So every time I did it, I said I won't do this again, but never say never. And it's turned out, it's been over… Every six years I seem to do few very concerts. When I talk to other performers, they do 300 dates a year, 250 dates a year. I've done 42 since 1963 – that is very little."

Check out two preview clips below as Barbra answers and Katie gets her 'THE WAY WE WERE moment' - then tune in on Tuesday!
