Sundance Channel to Air MONTY PYTHON Reunion Special Live This July

The sundance CHANNEL will air a live broadcast of Eagle Rock Entertainment's Monty Python reunion special, Monty Python Live (Mostly) One Down, Five To Go, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

When the five remaining members of the legendary comedy troupe will reunite on London's O2 Arena this July, sundance CHANNEL will broadcast the event live in Latin America, the Middle East and North America. A broadcast will air on other international territories at a later date.

According to the report, the channel has also picked up the British dramas "Mr. Selfridge" and "Peaky Blinders, the Australian series "The Code" and Denmark's "Borgen" for select international territories.


Monty Python Live will be directed by Eric Idle, with choreography from Arlene Phillips. Carol Cleveland, the only major female performer on Monty Python's Flying Circus, will also appear. Following the London events, the show is expected to embark on an international tour.
