Frightened Rabbit Tours with the National, Beg. Today
Having recently completed their stellar North American headline tour, Scottish quintet Frightened Rabbit has announced plans to join The National on the road later this summer. Dates kick off today, September 8th at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium and continue through the end of the month. In addition, the band will appear at this year's Lollapalooza and Osheaga festivals. See full itinerary below.
In celebration of Record Store Day last month, Frightened Rabbit teamed up with Manchester Orchestra and Grouplove to release a very special 12-inch single. The release features the Frightened Rabbit/Manchester Orchestra collaboration "The Architect," which is now available at all DSPs. Listen to the track here: http://snd.sc/Z5SQdJ.
Earlier this year, Frightened Rabbit released their widely acclaimed Canvasback/Atlantic debut album, "Pedestrian Verse." "They sell the drama like never before," raved SPIN, while Paste Magazine called the album "the most comprehensive Frightened Rabbit LP in the band's nearly 10-year career." The collection, Frightened Rabbit's fourth studio album, was recorded at the famed Monnow Valley Studio in Rockfield, South Wales with producer Leo Abrahams (Brian Eno, David Byrne, Grace Jones) and mixed by Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire).
