Chef Robert Irvine to Host 2nd Annual Beats 'n Eats to Benefit the Robert Irvine Foundation

Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine (Star of Food Network's Restaurant: Impossible) will host the 2nd Annual Beats 'n Eats Food + Music Event on Monday, May 21st, 2018 from 7:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m. (VIP and press reception held 6:00-7:00 p.m.) at the iconic Fillmore Philadelphia venue (29 E Allen Street, Philadelphia PA). Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Robert Irvine Foundation.

Presented by Live Nation Entertainment and Comcast Business- Beats 'n Eats is an eclectic, uniquely styled food and music experience designed to increase support and create opportunities for veterans and their families, and has become the signature annual showcase event for the Robert Irvine Foundation. Billed as "one epic night of food and music", the event features a family style, seven-course meal prepared by critically acclaimed chefs from Philadelphia and around the country, with live music performances from established and emerging artists between each course. In addition to the main event, programming includes a VIP & Press Reception (from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.) with an exclusive photo opportunity with Chef Irvine, and a Coffee & Donuts After Party (10:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.) presented by Starbucks Coffee and Federal Donuts.

"It's an honor to return to host this year's Beats 'n Eats in support of the brave veterans who defend our freedom," said Chef Irvine. "Supporting our veterans is a cause very close to my heart. We're bringing iconic chefs and musicians together for this one-of-a-kind experience which will enable the Robert Irvine Foundation to impact the lives of veterans directly- and through our partner organizations- throughout the year."

This year's featured chefs are ELIZABETH FALKNER (James Beard Foundation Award Nominee 2005 and globally acclaimed chef, author, and artist with appearances on Next Iron Chef, Redemption, Iron Chef America, Next Iron Chef, Super Chefs, Food Network Challenge, Top Chef Masters), BEAU MACMILLAN (Executive Chef, Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa with appearances on Iron Chef America, Worst Cooks in America, Next Iron Chef, The Best Thing I Ever Made, The Best Thing I Ever Ate, and Guy's Grocery Games), Jennifer Carroll (Owner/Executive Chef, The Finch and Carroll Couture Cuisine with appearances on Top Chef Las Vegas, Top Chef All Stars, Life After Top Chef, Top Chef Duals, Top Chef Colorado - Last Chance Kitchen, Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen, Man Vs Child, Rocco's Restaurant Divided, Good Catch, Movable Feast, Great Chefs of the World, Chefs Feed and more), JASON CICHONSKI (Owner/Executive Chef, ELA and Little Noodle Pasta Co. who appeared on Top Chef Season 6), BRAD SPENCE (Executive Chef, Amis and Bar Amis, and James Beard Foundation Award Finalist 2014), MARCIE TURNEY (James Beard Foundation Award Semi-Finalist 2014, Chef/Owner, Lolita, Barbuzzo, Jamonera, Little Nonna's, Grocery, Open House, Verde, Bud & Marilyn's and Marcie Blaine Artisanal Chocolates), and MATT FEIN (Executive Chef, Federal Donuts).

The event also features curated, premium cocktail bars presented by Philadelphia Distilling and Naked Grouse, draft beer selections presented by Yard's Brewing Company, and wine selections presented by Barton & Guestier and Patriarche USA.

The entertainment line-up includes performances by the "Godfather of Gangster Rap" and renaissance man SCHOOLLY D, Philadelphia Music Ambassador and hip-hop recording artist CHILL MOODY, along with spotlight performances from both local and emerging artists.
