Avenged Sevenfold has announced they will perform at Joe Louis Arena on Sunday, October 13 at 7 p.m. during their forthcoming "Hail To The King Tour"; the band's first full scale American tour since 2011. Known for their epic live show, the band will debut exciting new live production on the upcoming tour with special guests Deftones and Ghost B.C.

Avenged Sevenfold recently announced the details of their forthcoming sixth studio album due out on August 27 via Warner Bros. Records. Hail To The King is the follow up to Avenged Sevenfold's fifth studio album, Nightmare, which earned the band its highest ever debut on the Billboard album chart when it took the Number One spot and spawned three Number One, hit-singles "Nightmare", "So Far Away" and "Welcome To The Family". The band has achieved Diamond, Platinum and Gold awards for album sales in nearly a dozen countries and has sold out arenas all over the world and headlined some of the world's biggest and most prestigious music festivals playing to more than one million people.
Avenged Sevenfold made an unprecedented appearance as characters in the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 video game in November 2012. The game was the biggest selling video game of all time and featured the band's performance of a song written for the game, "Carry On", which then went on to top the Billboard Monitor chart on January 13, 2013.
