If you're looking for a few more Halloween happenings, we have some great ideas. Whether it's a distinctive brunch or a complimentary drink, check out our suggestions for a fun and festive Halloween weekend.

Samui (Fort Greene, Brooklyn)

Celebrants can start Halloween Weekend at Samui, Ft. Greene's new modern Thai restaurant on Saturday, October 29th with a monster of a six-course southeast Asia inspired brunch that includes some intriguing twists on classic favorites. Witness the Samui Eggs Benedict for which chef /owner A Napadol substitutes avocado for the Canadian bacon and her creamy, aromatic curry sauce plays the role of Hollandaise. Her Chicken & Waffles showcases Thai fried chicken that has been marinated in cumin cinnamon and cardamom. Other dishes on the frightfully fashionable menu include Savory Thai Crepe, a rice flour and egg crepe, stuffed with shrimp, bean sprouts, toasted peanuts and coconut and Son-in-Law Egg, hardboiled egg with a chopped chicken mix, crispy shallots and tamarind reduction. At $35, including tax, gratuity and a bubbly lychee Bellini, it's a shocking bargain. Plus attendees will automatically be put on the guest list for Samui's Masquerade Party that evening from 6:00 pm to midnight. Samui's Halloween Weekend Six-Course Brunch (costumes optional) will take place from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 29th. The restaurant is located at 15 Vanderbilt Avenue, just off Flushing Ave. in Brooklyn's Fort Greene neighborhood. To reserve your place, please go to https://www.komeeda.com/events68. Burger and Lobster (Flatiron)

To end the goulish weekend on Halloween, October 31st, celebrants can toast their various tricks and treats at Manhattan's Burger & Lobster with a complimentary sweetly sour "Scary Shot" made with Midori, lemon juice and simple syrup spiked with Grenadine to give it a little blood curdling red. All guests have to do to receive the free Halloween drink is to tap into their inner crustacean by showing up at the Flatiron favorite with something that boasts of their belief in lobster power. You can sport anything from a lobster sticker, photo on a phone, full-on lobster costume, lobster claw gloves, or head gear to score the Scary Shot. The complimentary Scary Shot will be available to anyone over the age of 21 who presents themselves at Burger & Lobster, 39 W. 19th Street, with their "lobster power" showing from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Visit the Burger & Lobster web site at http://www.burgerandlobster.com/home/.
