Grand Bazaar NYC, Manhattans largest curated market, began its preview days on the Upper West Side this past Sunday on June 26th. They will have a Grand Opening during New York Fashion Week on Sunday, September 11th. The international shopping market will be NYC's largest, with over 100 vendors featured each week.

Grand Bazaar NYC was created in order to give back to the local Upper West Side community. Every time a vendor commits to selling their goods at the market, four schools in the surrounding area including PS 87, The Computer School, PS 334 and PS 452 benefit. 100% of the net profits will benefit over 4,000 public school children by providing them with much need school supplies, books, art enrichment and sports programs.

Locals and tourists alike can come out to find one of a kind antiques, art, artisanal jewelry and an eclectic assortment of tasty treats. Each Sunday, new purveyors and pop-up shops will be brought in to create a unique experience for visitors every time they stop by.

In addition to the weekly market, special events will take place. A Summer Ice Cream Blizzard featuring the best artisanal ice cream makers will take place on July 31st. And on September 25th, Grand Bazaar NYC will host a special Artisanal Jewelry Bazaar with the city's most talented designers. There will be an Artisanal Sweets Bazaar on October 23rd, just in time for Halloween with treats like macaroons, spiced pumpkin pies, freshly baked muffins, chocolates and truffles.

Mark your calendars for some great holiday shopping. Grand Bazaar will also launch their Grand Holiday Bazaar on December 3-4, 10-11, 17-18 and the 24th.

Grand Bazaar NYC is located at 100 W. 77th Street at Columbus Avenue. The indoor and outdoor market will be open from 10am - 5:30pm on Sundays. For more information and to learn how you can become a vendor, visit www.GrandBazaarNYC.org.
