Last year's performance, Second City Does New Jersey: Paved and Confused was such a hit at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), they will be returning to the renowned Garden State venue in Newark for a new comedy show, Hooking Up With Second City. The legendary comedy crew makes mirth out of missed connections, girls' night out and all we do for love. There will be two performances on Saturday, January 16th, at 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Tickets start at $25.00 for both performances.

Second City knows a few things about love. They've been looking at and laughing about relationships for more than 55 years. This gaspingly funny revue is a modern mix of romance, rancor and everything in between that's ideal for a memorable couples night out or even your first date.

Hooking Up With Second City marks the company's annual return to NJPAC as part of an East coast tour that includes improv trainings with adults, kids and children on the autism spectrum. Second City will also be holding workshops on site at NJPAC.

Performing social and political satire through scripted scenes, music and improvisation, the Second City Touring Company is always original, daring and hilarious. The alumni list is a veritable who's-who of comedy, including Bill Murray, John and Jim Belushi, Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Joan Rivers, Stephen Colbert and so many more. Time calls Second City "a temple of satire."

NJPAC is located at 1 Center Street, Newark, New Jersey; a short walk from the Newark Penn Station stop by Newark-bound PATH Train or Amtrak. For information and to purchase tickets call 888.466.5722 or visit them online at www.njpac.org.
