Brown Box Theatre is sorry to report that tonight's performance of Songs for a New World has been cancelled. There are plenty of other opportunities to catch this spectacular musical, so please consult the calendar for the full performance schedule!

Songs for a New World, A Musical by Jason Robert Brown, runs now through May 14.

"It's about one moment." Songs for a New World, Jason Robert Brown's breathtaking song cycle, weaves together the stories and voices of a diverse cast of characters in a musical journey that transcends time and space. A soaring, vibrant score transports the audience through a mesmerizing exploration of the unknown world and the tough choices that follow. Bursting with life and discovery, Songs for a New World begs to be liberated from the walls of a theater, and will be presented at over 10 outdoor venues throughout Massachusetts and Delmarva as Brown Box's premier musical spectacular.

Sunday, May 7 - Fort Point | Waterfront Plaza at Atlantic Wharf
Thursday, May 11 - Easton | Borderland State Park
Friday, May 12 - Fort Point | Waterfront Plaza at Atlantic Wharf
Saturday, May 13 - Boston | South Garden at the Prudential Center
Sunday, May 14 - Fort Point | Waterfront Plaza at Atlantic Wharf

All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and are free and open to the public. Songs for a New World will be performed outdoors and seating is on the lawn.
