Playwrights Horizons will present the world premiere of THE PROFANE, a new play by Zayd Dohrn (Outside People, Reborning). Directed by Kip Fagan (Grand Concourse at, Exit Strategy, The Revisionist, Asuncion), THE PROFANE will be the fifth production of the theater company's 2016/2017 Season.

Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, kicked off its 12th Season when it presented its 121st concert presentation with Shaw's 1895 legendary comedy Candida on Monday, February 13 at 7pm, at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2537 Broadway at 95th Street).

Launching the Winter 2017 Musical in Mufti series is Milk and Honey, book by Don Appell, music and lyrics by Jerry Herman.  Marking the Broadway debut of the incomparable Jerry Herman, Milk and Honey centers on the romance between two Americans in Israel-a lonely widow on tour and an unhappily married man visiting his daughter.

The orchestra was joined by four guest artists, sisters Liz Callaway and Ann Hampton Callaway and brothers Anthony and Will Nunziata, for a holiday affair filled with family fun. Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA helped ring in the holiday season.
