This month, Lyric Studio Theatre in the Square will stage EDGES, a song cycle written by Tony nominated Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (DOGFIGHT, JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, DEAR EVAN HANSEN) in their sophomore year at the University of Michigan.

The cycle centers on four burgeoning adults asking classic coming-of-age questions. EDGES is a charming, witty and honest examination of adulthood explores what happens when we are teetering on the edges of our lives. The songs cover such universal issues as love, commitment, identity, and meaning. Characters deal with confronting emotions, escaping expectations, and deciphering complicated relationships.

Starring are Galen Crawley, AJ Klopach, Diany Rodriguez and Austin Tijerina, with musical direction by BJ Brown.

Performances play the Lyric Studio Theatre, 12 Powder Springs Street, Marietta (entrance under maroon awning located just to the left of Marietta Pizza Company), tonight, September 18, through September 26, 2015 at 8 PM. Free parking weekends in the Lawrence Street parking deck or any day after 6:00pm on the Square. The lot immediately behind the Lyric Studio is private and towing is strictly enforced.
