Aurora Theatre has assembled the best children's performers in the region, bringing them to Gwinnett County in order to give parents and children the chance to experience a live performance. That experience is made even more special during the holidays as parents look for inexpensive events that are fun for the whole family. In accordance with added ticket demand during the holiday season, Aurora Theatre has expanded our children's show schedule offering performances at both 10 & 11 AM each Saturday in December leading up to Christmas.
On December 4, one of Aurora's favorite performers Wendy Bennett arrives with a brand-new holiday show, Christmas Time's A Comin'. Join Wendy, her lovely voice and big green puppet as they ring in the Christmas season. Come to the show to see singing, guitar playing, storytelling, sled riding, jingle bell playing, and shoe decorating. That's right shoe decorating. You'll hear traditional Christmas music as well as some you may have never heard before, including: Christmas Time's A Comin', Jolly Old St. Nicholas, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, Jingle Bells and the stories The Mitten and The Shoemaker and the Elves. On December 11, Aurora Theatre welcomes back That Puppet Guy - Lee Bryan and The North Pole Fa-la-la-la Follies. Some talented residents of the North Pole get ready for their annual holiday talent show. The zany and colorful cast of characters include a wisecracking fruitcake, a musical goose, tumbling teddy bears, a duo of dancing deer, the not-so-abominable snowman and many others.Videos
