All Hands Productions presents The New Adventures of the Gingerbread Man at Center for Puppetry Arts: Classic Cookie Character Sprinkles New Life into Favorite Fables.

You may have heard the old story about the gingerbread man who ran away from a little old woman and a little old man, a cow, a duck and finally met his untimely end due to a sly fox. But have you heard about the time the gingerbread man who, after being visited by a magical blue fairy, learned how to be helpful toward his fellow fairytale characters and nearly became a real boy? In this fast-paced retelling of a folktale favorite, classic stories such as “Hansel and Gretel,” “Androcles and the Lion,” “The Frog Prince,” and “The Three Wishes” are woven together to form a high energy adventure that kids of all ages will enjoy. This zany one man production stars Atlanta?based puppeteer David Stephens of All Hands Productions, the creator and performer of last summer’s sold-out hit, Jack and the Beanstalk.
