Zulu Time, playing for a limited engagement at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood with a special World Premiere Opening Night Event July 11th. The fifth play written by Chuck Faerber is inspired by his two tours of duty with the Navy in Vietnam featuring drama and jet fuel. This will be the third collaboration between Faerber and Kuhlman, a critically acclaimed Playwright/Director tour de force.

Testosterone and jet aviation fuel can be a lethal mix-according to "Zulu Time," a poignant and startlingly original drama set on an American aircraft carrier during the civil rights era. A Navy pilot's refusal to apologize for voicing an urge to bomb the Watts rioters threatens to ignite mutiny on a warship headed for Vietnam...and awakens ghosts from the carrier's past battles. While the play is in part an insider's often ribald chronicle (written by a Navy pilot) on how men and machines are readied for war, it is also a poetic and insightful revelation about the deadly but intricately beautiful ballet orchestrated on the decks of a vessel of stupefying power.

Zulu Time runs from July 11th through August 9th with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. A preview will run July 10th at 8pm. General admission with be $25 or $15 for the preview performance. For reservations or more information please visit https://www.plays411.com/zulu or call 323.960.7740
