An obscure vegetable store holds many a secret of a time long before. Through a series of events, a widow, a farmer, a priest, a sex worker, a soldier and a drunk find much to share and remember. With the music of Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Burl Ives, McCartney, Mick Jagger, the Dubliners, and the Animals the old facade is once more transformed into THE MUSIC SHOP.

THE MUSIC SHOP follows the journey of six survivors who find their way back and rediscover the joys of lost songs and forgotten dances. The production features two multi-award-winning actors, Nicholas Ellenbogen and Liz Szymczak,k who perform together on the The Rosebank stage for the first time ever. Thay are joined onstage by University of Cape Town graduates Sive Gubangxa, Nathan Lynn, Cameron Robertson and the master musician, Robert Jeffries. The show is choreographed by the legendary Adele Blank.
