Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) presents the comedy "Black Tie" in weekend performances May 29 through June 21, 2015.

An endearing comedy centered around Curtis, who tries to prove that a touch of class never goes out of style as he prepares to make a memorable toast at his only son's wedding rehearsal dinner. But generations clash when his own family doesn't share his belief in tradition and time-honored ways.

Liz Neerland, co-founder and co-artistic director of Nimbus Theatre, directs the 5-member cast, with sets by Skot Rieffer, costumes by Carolann Winther, lighting by Courtney Schmitz, and sound by Matthew Vichlach. (Go to www.theatreintheround.org/on-stage/63rd-8/black-tie-more.html for a complete company listing and interview with director Neerland).

An audience discussion with members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, June 7.

Tickets are $22. For information, call the theatre's box office at 612-333-3010 or visit its website at www.TheatreintheRound.org.

Theatre in the Round's facilities are accessible for audience members using wheelchairs. Assisted-listening equipment is available for patrons with hearing impairments. Assisted-viewing service is offered for patrons with visual impairments on Sunday, June 14th.
