The Grove Theatre is proud to announce the World Premiere of Lyman, running the weekend of January 20th through the 22nd.

Lyman, written by Anne Johnstonbrown, and guest starring Lou Beatty, Jr., is a play that tells the story of a man named Lyman and how the choices he makes impact his destiny, as well as the destinies of those around him. Each scene represents a different Destiny of Lyman Liri based on a choice he makes at a universal point in time. It is always told from the perspective of someone who knew him.

When a woman meets a homeless man she thinks she recognizes, she wonders if his life would have been different had he made different choices. Was he really a hero like he claims to have been? If he wasn't on the streets, where would he be? From these questions, we take a journey through the various universes in which Lyman would have existed, and we learn the truth about how choices affect destiny and what it really means to be a hero.

Tickets are $25.00 general admission and are $10.00 for Veterans with ID. Tickets can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, by visiting The Grove box office or on our website at www.grovetheatre.com. The Grove Theatre is located at 276 E. Ninth Street, Upland, CA 91786.
