Two classic "underdog" tales come to life on stage through the use of cutting edge technology in Light Wire Theater's electrifying production for ages 3 through 9, The Ugly Duckling & The Tortoise and the Hare, at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. All tickets are $10. Contact Cheryl Wheeler at 631-288-2350, ext. 102 or CherylW@whbpac.org.

A beloved story about personal transformation and acceptance, The Ugly Duckling follows a young duckling through the different seasons as he searches for friends to love him for who he really is. In The Tortoise and the Hare, the famous story of a race between two very different animals, teaches the moral that "slow and steady wins the race. Light Wire Theater fuses dance, narration, a wide range of musical genres, and electroluminescent wire to create a stunning effect on stage.

This production is 55 minutes + a brief Q&A with the actors.
