Ripped from the headlines! Of 1865! A Civil War border town is gripped by controversy when the dreaded Emancipation Proclamation threatens to redefine freedom as they know it. The city's most eligible sea captain, the deacon of the local church brothel and the friendly neighborhood Klansman are united by their mutual hatred of that liberal pantywaist Lincoln. And there's only one way to stop him...No, not bullets! (Okay, two ways.)

A politically raucous new comedy by SkyPilot senior resident playwright Jeff Goode, critically acclaimed author of YES, SVETLANA, THERE IS A GRANDFATHER FROST at SkyPilot, LOVE LOVES A PORNOGRAPHER at Circle X Theatre, THE EIGHT REINDEER MONOLOGUES at Chance Theatre and SAVIN' UP FOR SATURDAY NIGHT at Sacred Fools Theatre.

Directed by Eric Curtis Johnson who directed SkyPilot's critically acclaimed REQUIEM FOR A HEAVYWEIGHT and HELLCAB. Starring James Sharpe, Jude Evans, Brett Fleisher, Matt Valle, Nathaniel Stanton, Arden Haywood and Frank Ensenberger.

Performances thru June 19, 2011. Saturdays 8pm, Sundays 7pm at T.U. Studios, 10943 Camarillo St. (2 doors East of Vineland/Lankershim) North Hollywood, CA 91602. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at www.SKYPILOTTHEARE.com or at 800-838-3006.
