After their Sunday matinee this week, the Chicago company of MOTOWN came together to help castmate Devon Goffman coordinate an extremely special proposal for his girlfriend Katie, who unknowingly thought she and Devon were simply going for a walk.

Devon wrote, "Sometimes, you have a great idea to do something REALLY special...
Well, thanks to my amazing castmates... I pulled off this 'Mini-Flash Mob' on June 1, 2014.
We finished our SUNDAY MATINEE show MOTOWN at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago. My girlfriend Katie came to watch me in the show... and on our way to dinner, this happened..."
