Photo Flash: IN THE HEIGHTS Star Crashes HAMILTON Rehearsals

Lin-Manuel Miranda's latest musical Hamilton has recently moved into the Richard Rodgers theatre in anticipation of a July 13 opening, and tech rehearsals just kicked off last week. Today, the creator/star posted a backstage photo featuring he and IN THE HEIGHTS' Robin De Jesus enjoying a cup of joe (and listening to some jams?), along with the caption, "Something weird is happening. Hamilton's cousin Sonny showed up and started hitting on Angelica." Scroll down for a look!

Robin De Jesus originated the role of 'Sonny' in Miranda's IN THE HEIGHTS off-Broadway in 2007 and followed the show to Broadway in 2008. Among his other Broadway credits are LA CAGE AUX FOLLES and RENT.

The Broadway production of HAMILTON, inspired by the book "Alexander Hamilton" by Ron Chernow, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, will start performances on Broadway on July 13 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

Starring in the new musical will be Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jonathan Groff, Christopher Jackson, Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Anthony Ramos, Daveed Digs and Renee Elise Goldsberry. The ensemble will include Jasmine Cephas Jones, Okieriete Onaodowan, Carleigh Bettiol, Andrew Chappelle, Ariana DeBose, Alysha Deslorieux, Sydney James Harcourt, Neil Haskell, Sasha Hutchings, Thayne Jasperson, Stephanie Klemons, Morgan Marcell, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Javier Munoz, Jon Rua,Austin Smith, Seth Stewart, Betsy Struxness, Ephraim Sykes and Voltaire Wade-Greene.
