Gingold Theatrical Group - which made history as the first company ever to present every play (including full-length works, one-acts and sketches) written by George Bernard Shaw - presented the witty and whimsical classic comedy YOU NEVER CAN TELL last night, May 23 at The Players Club. David Staller produced and directed. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the event and brings you photo coverage below.

One of Shaw's most popular plays, YOU NEVER CAN TELL is a charming light comedy set in an English seaside hotel and involves mistaken identities, a world famous authoress, a long-lost father, a dentist, a dream and a masquerade ball. In the course of a single summer day, everyone's life is turned upside down, while the patient and wise hotel waiter dispenses his wisdom with the insightful phrase, "You never can tell!"

The ensemble for YOU NEVER CAN TELL includes Jessie Austrian (THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST), Lisa Banes (PRESENT LAUGHTER), Lynwood Bradley, Victoria Haynes (ME & MY GIRL), Lenny Wolpe (THE DROWSY CHAPERONE), Daniel Jenkins (MARY POPPINS), Chad Kimball (MEMPHIS), Charlotte Moore (Artistic Director, Irish Repertory Theatre), James Joseph O'Neil, and Nick Wyman (CATCH ME IF YOU CAN).

David Staller produces and directs all of the PROJECT SHAW readings. He recently directed Shaw's CANDIDA for the Two River Theatre Company in Red Bank, New Jersey.
