Kevin Kern Returns To The Broadway Cast Of WICKED 3/10

Kevin Kern returns to the Broadway cast of Wicked March 10. He is set to replace Aaron Tveit in the role of Fiyero.

Wicked's current cast includes Nicole Parker as Elphaba, Alli Mauzey as Glinda, Jayne Houdyshell as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Alex Brightman as Boq, Cristy Candler as Nessarose, and Timothy Britten Parker as Doctor Dillamond.

Kevin Kern has been seen on Broadway in Wicked, The Wedding Singer and Les Misérables and Off-Broadway in Next to Normal, Altar Boyz and Finian's Rainbow. Regional credits include Grease and Les Misérables.

Long before Dorothy dropped in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald green skin, is smart, firey and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. How these two unlikely friends end up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch makes up for one of the most spellbinding new musicals in years.

Wicked features a score by Stephen Schwartz, a book by Winnie Holzman, direction by Joe Mantello and musical staging by Wayne Cilento.

Wicked won 2004 Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical (Menzel), Best Costume Design (Susan Hilferty) and Best Scenic Design (Eugene Lee).
