Himself and Nora, the new musical, will end its engagement at Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane) on Saturday, August 6th. With book, music, and lyrics by Jonathan Brielle and directed by Michael Bush, Himself and Nora will have played 26 previews and 71 performances at the time of closing.

A "Live From the Minetta Lane" cast album of Himself and Nora was recently recorded. Information on its release date will be announced in the coming weeks.

It was one of the world's great romances. She was the country girl from Galway whose burning sexuality and acerbic wit inspired the genius of James Joyce. Himself and Nora is a passionate musical that reveals the private life of one of modern literature's most controversial figures and illustrates the untold story of Joyce's lifelong love and muse Nora.

The cast of Himself and Nora includes Matt Bogart (Jersey Boys) as James Joyce, Whitney Bashor (The Bridges of Madison County) as Nora Barnacle, Cole Burden (The Bridges of Madison County Nat'l Tour), Michael McCormick (Chaplin), Lianne Marie Dobbs (A Tree Grows In Brooklyn), Gary Troy ("Boardwalk Empire"), and Victoria Huston-Elem (The Addams Family Nat'l Tour).

Himself and Norahas musical direction by James Sampliner, choreography by Kelli Barclay, set design by Paul Tate DePoo III, costume design by Amy Clark, lighting design by Jason Lyons, and sound design by Keith Caggiano. Casting is by Geoff Josselson, general management byDR Theatrical Management, production management by Production Core and production stage management by CJ LaRoche.
