CHICAGO has announced that performances will resume at the Ambassador Theatre (219 West 49th Street) beginning Thursday, November 1 at 8 p.m.

Due to this week's industry-wide Broadway closure as a result of Hurricane Sandy, performances of CHICAGO were cancelled this past Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings. (The production is dark on Wednesdays.)

"I'm happy to report that all of our cast, crew and production staff are safe, sound and accounted for" said producer Barry Weissler. "We'll all be back to work this Thursday night, sharing the razzle dazzle of CHICAGO with audiences once again! And to quote the illustrious Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly -- that's good, isn't it?"

CHICAGO currently stars Amy Spanger as Roxie Hart, Terra C. MacLeod as Velma Kelly, Brent Barrett at Billy Flynn, Cory English as Amos Hart and Carol Woods as Matron "Mama" Morton.
