To mark its first year of operation in U.S., EXKi has renovated the first of its two New York City locations at 257 Park Avenue South. This popular fast-casual restaurant is vegetable-centric, sources food locally and has an emphasis on fresh, high quality ingredients in their menu offerings.

Having made its debut last summer, the 1500 square foot space has now re-opened at EXKi's Park Avenue South location. They will boast more seating, custom made new art installations, reconfigured display cases, a new color scheme and extensive interior landscaping. Laurent Kahn, CEO of EXKi NYC says the renovation was prompted by the concept's New York market, to better meet the expectations and demands of their ever-growing customer base.

In addition to the physical changes at the Park Avenue South location, EXKi's New York-centric locations will feature fall /winter which will launch in early October with a number of new dishes, including a selection of intriguing soufflé-like egg dishes, an assortment of hot sandwiches and a roster of seasonal smoothies Developed under the guidance of EXKi's consulting chef Galen Zamarra, all will be offered in addition to EXKi menu staples of a wide variety of salads, signature sandwiches and sweet treats.

At both the newly renovated Park Avenue South and 76 Madison eateries, EXKi demonstrates its commitment to social and environmental responsibility in a number of ways, including the service of locally-roasted coffee sourced from Manhattan's backyard of Long Island City using the finest Fair Trade Certified™ Organic beans to ensure sustainable living standards for the coffee industry workers and producers alike.

EXKi utilizes green serving implements and cleaning products, composts waste and is a member of the Green Restaurant Association. And both locations unused food to City Harvest, the New York City organization dedicated to helping feed the more than 1.4 million New Yorkers facing hunger.

EXKi was founded in 2001 in Brussels, Belgium by three college friends, Nicolas Steisel, Frédéric Rouvez and Arnaud de Meeûs, They were driven by their passion for quality ingredients and flavorful food. EXKi is a play on the French word 'exquis' for exquisite or delightful and offers top quality recipes with a focus on fresh, local and seasonal vegetables. Currently there are 78 locations in Europe including Brussels, Paris and Turin. The first location in New York opened in 2014 and the second at the end of February 2015, with a goal to roll out 20 additional locations in the New York area by the year 2025.
