BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

Tonight, October 30th, Broadway Sessions is a DRAG- A Hallo-Queen Hootenanny. Featuring Broadway and Musical Theater gentlemen taking the stage as their glamorous female alter ego's.

The evening will be co-hosted by Broadway veteran Eric Sciotto, aka Lavender Shortbread (Drood, Priscilla, Annie Get Your Gun, Aida, A Chorus Line etc.)

The evening will also feature drag performances by Courter Simmons (Broadway and national Jersey Boys, Producers film, Tony Awards), Lincoln Ward (regional La Cage, Grease) and vocalist Phil McLeod and more

Pre-show Open Mic "Singing for Shots" challenge starts at 10:15. Audience members who arrive in drag will receive a complimentary "Sessions Shot". Audience members will also be invited to participate in a special "Musical Theater Lip Sync for Your Life" contest at the stroke of midnight.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 West 42nd Street (corner of 42nd Street and 9th Avenue).
