The Broadway musical cult favorite SMILE, by Howard Ashman and Marvin Hamlisch, returns to New York for a one-night-only reunion concert performance tonight, September 22, 2014 at 7PM & 9:30PM.

SMILE opened on the Great White Way in 1986, and closed after 48 performances. The musical follows the intrigue and exploits onstage and behind-the-scenes as Santa Rosa, California plays host to the Young American Miss Pageant. With a bright, brassy, exciting score that includes "Disneyland," "Shine," "Young And American," "Until Tomorrow Night," and many more Hamlisch/Ashman treasures, SMILE is one of the greatest underappreciated Broadway musicals of the 1980s.

The reunion concert will bring back original Broadway cast members Mana Allen, Jodi Benson, Anne Bobby, Mia Malm, Tia Riebling, Marsha Waterbury, Ruth Williamsonand more, for a Young American Miss pageant you will never forget!

Directed by Richard Biever, Musical Direction by Roberto Sinha, Produced by Jennifer Ashley Tepper.
