ABC's 'Lost' prides itself on having a dedicated fan base, something the network is leveraging by charging upwards of $900,000 for a 30-second commercial during the upcoming series finale, so it should come as no surprise that the same fan base found fault in an ongoing promotional graphic for another series that popped up on television screens throughout this week's 'Lost' episode.

'Lost' executive producer Damon Lindelof jumped on the ABC bashing via his Twitter account Tuesday night, tweeting: "Yes, people, I saw it too. :34 minutes until I cry myself to sleep."

The graphic in question was a promotional bug for the returning series 'V,' which covered the bottom right-hand corner of many television screens throughout the hour-long 'Lost' episode. As the New York Times points out, that promotional graphic blocked viewers from reading a message one of the show's characters had scrawled on a notepad.

"Does ABC really understand how rabidly fans of 'Lost' watch their favorite show, parsing out every bit of information on the screen?" the Times asks.

Joining in on the ABC 'V' promotional bug debacle are David Letterman and Steven Colbert, both spoofing the incident on their respective shows. New York Magazine has posted a video clip showing both comedy bits.
