The award winning play from Israel "Women's Minyan" about a respected Rabbi's wife who flees her abusive marriage and puts herself and her society on trial is coming to New York. It will be presented in an exclusive staged reading this Monday 9/26 3pm & 7pm (reception). This searing drama features a stellar cast of Amelia Campbell, Judy Gold, Emily Zacharias, Amy Stiller, Catherine Wolf, Valerie Issembert, Emma Zaks, Zuzanna Szadkowski, Kendall Rileigh, Rebecca Louise Miller, Bern Cohen, Lisa Riegel, and Marcia Sterling.

Tony winner/actress Tovah Feldshuh directs.

Only three presentations will occur at the CORE: Club

Based on a true story, Chana Kashman, a respected Rabbi's wife, flees her abusive marriage and the ultra-Orthodox community of Jerusalem. Desperate to see her twelve children, she returns, agreeing to allow a quorum of the women closest to her to judge her actions. But even as they sit in judgment, it is ultimately they themselves, and their entire society, that are on trial. Women's Minyan enjoyed a critically acclaimed 500 performance run in Israel and has been seen around the world. One Circle Productions proudly presents this staged reading in anticipation of the full New York production.
