Nobody waits like Mulberry. Waiting is his hobby. He waits whenever and wherever he can. Whilst waiting for a big yellow door of opportunity to open, his reverie is smashed by the arrival of a stranger called Bix: an inquisitive, restless sort with skin too thick to realise his intrusion.
Much to Mulberry's irritation, a profound and meaningful friendship develops.
Written by and starring British entertainment legend legend Gary Wilmot (Me and My Girl, Adelphi Theatre; The Wizard of Oz, London Palladium, UK Tour; Something Rotten!, Theatre Royal Drury Lane) who reunites on stage with acclaimed actor and comedian Steve Furst (Little Britain, BBC; Mr Gum & The Dancing Bear, National Theatre; My Fair Lady, Curve Theatre), this warm, funny, and delightfully absurd new play explores patience, companionship, and our peculiar relationship with the implacable passing of time.
