Where Flowers Breathe at The Courtyard Theatre

A solitary figure meets the quiet presence of flowers. The dance begins slowly. Breath settles into the body before movement begins to unfold. Long, flowing phrases give way to moments of stillness, allowing each gesture to find its own rhythm. Flowers, light and fabric remain quietly alongside the performer, changing almost unnoticed as time passes. Rooted in the elegance of traditional dance and shaped through a contemporary choreographic language, Where Flowers Breathe is an intimate performance about softness, patience and the quiet beauty of simply being present. It is an invitation to slow down for a while, and perhaps to leave the theatre feeling a little lighter than when you arrived.
