THE DUMMY at Acting Coach Scotland

A One-Man Psychological Horror Musical Book, Music & Lyrics by Joseph Helsing The laughter will stop. The screaming won't. Behind the faded curtains of the Rialto Theatre lurks something ancient, malevolent and hungry. Once a desperate ventriloquist's last hope for fame, a sinister wooden dummy has become the vessel for a curse that feeds on laughter, despair and the darkest corners of the human soul.

Decades later, the nightmare is far from over. Those who encounter the dummy are plagued by terrifying visions, vanish without a trace or are driven to unspeakable acts by whispers only they can hear. As reality begins to unravel, the line between performer and puppet, madness and possession, becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish. But the dummy has a secret. And the show is never over. THE DUMMY is a chilling one-man horror musical in which a single performer brings a world of obsession, supernatural terror and murderous madness to life. Through haunting original songs, twisted storytelling and a descent into psychological darkness, one man must confront the horrifying legacy of a wooden face that should never have smiled. Is the dummy truly possessed by something evil? Is an ancient curse claiming its victims? Or is the real monster something far more disturbing? Step into the theatre. Take your seat. Whatever you do, don't turn your back on the stage. Some puppets have strings. Others have souls. And some are just waiting for you to laugh. NOTE: This is a livestream of the pro-shot performance.
