Haifa based Palestinian theatre-makers Khashabi Theatre presents HASH, a theatrical work for one actor. Written by Bashar Markus HASH observes a person so immobilized by fear that venturing outside has become impossible. He watches as his body grows and he searches for his life story within the confines of a tiny room. Somewhere between claustrophobia and a metaphor of the contemporary world, Bashar Markus delivers a stinging satire of the society of consumption. Khashabi Theatre is an independent cultural organisation founded in Haifa in 2015 working towards a Palestinian society that freely practices art and creativity as a natural right.
