📍 Theatre: Studio Theatre

Share
Written by Joshua Harmon and directed by Studio Associate Artistic Director Jess Chayes in her Studio directorial debut, this sharp-tongued play follows a playwright whose dying grandmother tasks him with writing about the family, requesting he make it as bitter and vitriolic as possible. The play casts a comic eye on mothers and daughters, legacy and addiction, fierce cruelty and extraordinary love. The play had its first public reading at Studio in 2024 before an acclaimed Off Broadway run at Manhattan Theatre Club in 2025.
