Prima Facie, written by Suzie Miller, is a Tony-nominated one-woman drama receiving its first-ever U.S. regional staging at Arena Stage. The play follows Tessa, a criminal defense attorney at the height of her career, who has built her success defending men accused of sexual assault. When an unthinkable event forces her to the other side of the courtroom, she confronts the law's patriarchal power and the gap between the burden of proof and truth. The production runs in the Arlene and Robert Kogod Cradle from November 13, 2026 through January 17, 2027.
