Written by Oliver Cotton and directed by Trevor Nunn, The Score stars Brian Cox as Johann Sebastian Bach and Nicole Ansari-Cox as his wife, Anna, reuniting the original West End cast for its U.S. premiere. Set in spring 1747, Bach is summoned to the court of Frederick II and presented with a musical puzzle that forces him to confront his own morality. The cast also includes Stephen Hagan as King Frederick, Jamie Wilkes as Bach's son Carl, and Christopher Staines, Toby Webster, and Matthew Romain as fellow court musicians.
