Sondheim’s Company at the Dorset Playhouse The Dorset Players’ production of Company, with music & lyrics by renowned composer Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, will be presented at the Dorset Playhouse on Friday, May 16 & 23 and Saturday, May 17 & 24 at 7:30pm. On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor, Robert (Michael Nichols-Pate), contemplates his unmarried state. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks and even a wedding, his friends – "those good and crazy people [his] married friends" – explain the pros and cons of taking on a spouse. The habitually single Robert is forced to question his adamant retention of bachelorhood during a hilarious array of interactions. With the incomparable talents of Joey Blane, Josh Bond, Megan Demarest, Kasey Franzoni, Dana Haley, Jacquelyn Holloway, Danielle Houston, Todd Houston, Joseph Mozer, K.
