Discover the future of choral music at Elektra’s Reading Session of New Compositions.
An integral part of Elektra’s mandate is to champion new works for adult treble voices. In this engaging and interactive event, Canadian composers share works in progress and receive feedback from Artistic Director Cassie Luftspring, guest composer Dorothy Chang, composer/pianist Stephen Smith, and the Elektra singers. Whether you’re a singer, composer, or simply curious about how new music comes to life, this unique behind-the-scenes experience offers a rare opportunity to witness creativity in action.
